Alain Guay

I am a Professor of Economics at the Université du Québec à Montréal. My research is in macroeconomics and econometrics, with a particular focus on the identification of structural VARs and on understanding cyclical fluctuations.

Recent work looks at identification through higher-order moments and at spectral methods for non-Gaussian SVARs. You can find current projects on the working papers page.
